I paid around 50 bucks for a pair of lucky brand jeans from a lucky brand store...originally the price was 99?
is this a good deal? I bought a classic straight pair of blue jeans that are mid-rise...i think it's called a 181...don't know if I should have used that money to buy some other brand like gap or express that would have a more modern color for the same price

As long as you don't pay more than 60$ for a pair of jeans then you're good. Since you paid 50$ for a pair of jeans that normally costs 99$, I think you got a very good deal.
Now if you don't like the jeans itself, that is another story. Is is too late too return it?
