What should I wear to court?
Its about a motorcycle wreck - we were on the motorcycle. The driver that caused it was charged with DUI and several felonies. I want to look respectable, but I realize that many people look down on "bikers". So I think that black may not be the best color, as it may make them think of black leather and all of the negative stereotypes that go with it (Hells Angels, Easy Rider, Chicks in chaps with just panties, etc). I may be overthinking, but don't want to take that risk. I was thinking of a pastel skirt suit. This is a small town, so some jurors will be in jeans, most men will just be in polo shirts, and women will probably be in knit pants and tops, or dress pants and tops/sweaters. At least this is what I've observed in the past. Any ideas?
I plan to wear light makeup, but my hair is naturally curly and shoulder length. I'm guessing that wearing it straight would look more polished. And I suppose a "Helmet laws suck" t-shirt is also out of the question...LOL
A suit is always appropriate.
